Our hotel is surrounded by Ski Resorts

The location is perfect: Five of the most famous ski resorts in the Counties of Salzburg and Tirol all within 25 minutes of our hotel. A real pleasure for skiers!

Whether you choose Zell am See or the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, the world-famous skiing resort of Kitzbühel or Saalbach-Hinterglemm, you will find 8 wonderful ski resorts serviced by a total of 265 cable cars and lift offering around 823 km of pistes. Variety is the motto from autumn to late spring. Free ski buses or trains will bring you comfortably to the ski areas. And the ski passes can be purchased at our hotel.

The Salzburg Super Ski Card and the Kitzbühel Alps All Star Card are now together in 25 ski regions of Salzburg and neighboring areas in Tirol on 2,790 km of slopes (of which 2200 km with artificial snow) to incredible 199 days! In sum are 925 cable cars and ski lifts available!

Select on the weather or rush of visitors. And to avoid queues at the ticket offices get the Salzburger Super Ski Card at the hotel.

New we have a ski storage room with heated and lockable lockers for every hotel room. To find Skieer, poles, helmet, ski jackets and pants to dry at a safe place.

Weisssee Glacier Region
Driving time is about 25 minutes. The toll-free scenic "Stubachtal" road takes you through one of the most picturesque of the Tauern valleys to Enzingerboden. This compact ski area (highest point 2,600m above sea level) guarantees great skiing fun without queuing or the hustle and bustle of larger resorts! The Weisssee Glaciers Region is ideal for hoby skiers and snowboarders and touring skiers .

Panorama Train Hollersbach - Kitzbühel Alps
Driving time is about 15 minutes. One of the largest and most reputable cable car companies in the world. For the past 75 years, the Kitzbühel Lift Company ensures your safe and comfortable access to the mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. The area offers 170 km of excellently prepared slopes and beautiful mountain scenery in the middle of the Kitzbühel Alps. Another highlight is the train ride from the Resterhöhe / Pass Thurn to Hahnenkamm / Penglstein in Kitzbühel - a comfortable and easy way to the slopes .

Schmittenhöhe in Zell am See
Driving time is about 15 minutes. Ski until your thighs begin to burn, or simply enjoy some gentle skiing in wonderful surrounding s - here on the Schmittenhöhe Mountain 77 kilometers of pistes (25 km difficult) await avid Alpine skiing enthusiasts. And if that's not enough you can hit the moguls or measure your speed on the timed training slopes.

Kitzsteinhorn Kaprun
Driving time is about 15 minutes. The myth Kitzsteinhorn: More than a glacier. Austria's first glacier is a true Alpine adventure for skiers and outdoor enthusiasts 365 days a year. Surrounded by the highest peaks in Austria, the sheer magnificence of the area is enough in itself, add to that wide open slopes and metres of natural snow and you will discover an intense feeling of freedom at 3000 metres above sea level - all year round

Ski Arena Wildkogel - Smaragdbahn Bramberg
Driving time is about 20 minutes. The ski arena Wildkogel offers excellent runs for all levels of skier. The slopes are side an uncrowded leaving you with plenty of space to carve or board to your heart's content. Having tried out the different runs you can end the day with the seemingly endless home run down into the valley.

Saalbach Hinterglemm
Driving time is about 35 minutes. Experience the glittering world of powder snow and ice crystals. Breathe in the fresh Alpine air and feel the golden warmth of the sun. Enjoy silver-white slopes in almost the seemingly endless ski area of Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang. Over 200 km of perfectly groomed slopes offer something for every level of skier. For the acrobats amongst us there is also the great fun park.

Zillertal Arena
Driving time is about 45 minutes. For the Alpine town of Gerlos and the Zillertal Arena, a snow sure resort is not a promise it's a guarantee. From the centre of the village lifts will take you up to the sweeping slopes of the Zillertal Arena. 166 km of slopes and 51 lifts service pistes between 1,300m and 2,500m above sea level from the beginning of December until Easter. Numerous mountain hut restaurants and snow bars invite you to stop and enjoy some refreshments. On the newly created downhill ski runs you can ski comfortably down to the valley. And of course there's no better way to end an action packed day on the slopes than with some great Gerlos après ski.

Driving time is about 40 minutes. The family-friendly Grossglockner Resort ski area is considered a true insider tip among outdoor enthusiasts. There's no queuing because the wide range of slopes are serviced by excellent and well placed lifts. The new Grossglockner Resort Kals / Matrei is ideal for young skiers, families and beginners. With stunning views of the surrounding Glockner, Schober and Granatspitz peaks this delightful little resort has a special attraction all of its own - friendly, uncomplicated and natural.
